We are looking for a Construction Apprentice to join our team
This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring construction professional to join our growing team of dedicated professionals.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who has great communication skills and above all is willing to learn. The successful candidate will be a good team player who takes pride in their work and wants to develop a construction career through our experienced team and college to achieve a recognised qualification.
Working from our purpose built, state of the art office in Bradford on Avon, we have on site parking, a gym including changing and shower facilities, and we are conveniently located only a short walk into the centre of town.
THE COURSE
On this apprenticeship you will be following the Quantity Surveying Technician Level 4 Standard, which will take up to 27 months to complete. The apprenticeship will be delivered by our provider Learning Skills Partnership via blended learning, combining on line lectures and regular face to face visits.
CONSTRUCTION APPRENTICE ROLE
Skills and abilities include:
- Proficient at Microsoft software packages (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Grades of 4 and over in Maths and English Language.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willing to learn and develop construction career.
- Opportunity to work in different departments within the business.
Duties will include:
- Support the construction team in various departments:
- Construction
- Surveying
- Buying
- Assist with Sub-contract tender enquiries and variations.
- Assist with updating data bases.
- Assist with reports.
- Attend meetings with the site team and contractors.
