Supporting Jim Donald’s Golf Marathon for Wiltshire Mind

Our Managing Director Stuart Morgan will be supporting Jim Donald’s fundraising event on 27th May at Kingsdown Golf Club.

Jim is Chairman of Wiltshire Mind Health Charity and will be golfing from dawn to dusk to raise funds for the charity. Wiltshire Mind is an independent charity supporting people in Wiltshire who are experiencing mental health problems or emotional distress with services accessible for everybody in the community.

Jim said, “I have been a member of Kingsdown for 40 years and very proud to say a former club captain. I am also Chairman of Wiltshire Mind Health Charity and would like to raise funds for the charity as we are only funded by donations and have no statutory contracts.

My original plan to run a team golf day is not feasible this year due to current COVID-19 restrictions. Therefore I will undertake a golf marathon myself, playing as many holes as I can in one day. I am seeking your support and sponsorship either per hole or a one off donation. I plan to play from around first light until I drop! 

Ashford Homes have kindly agreed to support me in my “marathon” Manager Director Stuart Morgan has agreed to play a few holes with me as has Captain Phil Hodges.”
