Local children planting for a greener future: Grove Farm welcomes Wootton Bassett Infants School in tree-planting initiative

Earlier today, we extended an invitation to students at Wootton Bassett Infants’ School to participate in a tree-planting activity at our Grove Farm development in Royal Wootton Bassett. Project Manager Lee Dutton and Site Manager Paul Burns, dedicated to this project for the past year, guided the children in planting a fresh cherry tree. A commemorative plaque marks the spot, signifying the children’s involvement in the tree-planting endeavour and welcoming them to revisit the tree whenever they wish.
Lee Dutton said, “It was great to see local children involved in the planting of a new tree at our Grove Farm development. This not only fosters a sense of community pride and ownership, but also instils valuable lessons about environmental stewardship from a young age. By actively engaging with their surroundings in such a positive way, these children are not just planting trees, they’re sowing the seeds of a brighter greener future for generations to come.”
Grove Farm is a collection of 10 beautifully crafted new homes ranging from three to four bedrooms with either a single or double garage. Sales agents Richard James, also in attendance this morning, are marketing the plots on behalf of Ashford Homes. Get in touch with them if you’d like to know more about the development.
