Ashford Homes’ Paul Burns receives a highly commended: Best Residential Site Manager award

Congratulations to Paul Burns who has been awarded a highly commended in the Best Residential Site Manager category at the LABC Building Excellence Awards 2023. Paul, who currently heads up our Grove Farm development in Royal Wootton Bassett has been recognised by LABC for his outstanding contribution to construction in the West of England region.

For the Best Residential Site Manager award, LABC were looking for a high standard of workmanship on site with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, supported with very good knowledge of building methods and regulations, but as well, site managers who are great communicators with good organisational skills that can motivate their teams. Applicants had to prove that they went beyond the call of duty to develop an outstanding working relationship with the local authority building control team as well as a commitment to creating excellent homes.

Paul joined Ashford Homes in 2021 and has managed two sites for us – The Hawthorns, Great Somerford and currently Grove Farm, Royal Wootton Bassett.
