Ashford Homes celebrates a decade long partnership with Trowbridge Rugby Football Club
It was a pleasure to visit Trowbridge Rugby Football Club, where Chris Lamb (President) and Mike James (former President) presented the first team’s shirt to our Managing Director, Stuart Morgan, in recognition of our ongoing support.
Our affiliation with Trowbridge Rugby Football Club dates back to 2012, marking a longstanding partnership that commenced when Ashford Homes and its parent company, Doric Developments (Bath) Limited, played a pivotal role in facilitating the club’s relocation from its former sports ground at Green Lane. Ashford undertook the construction of the present facilities, comprising a modern clubhouse featuring two bars, a terrace, impressive changing rooms, and ample parking. The initiative resulted in the establishment of a versatile venue designed to accommodate a variety of men’s, women’s, and children’s teams, as well as a range of community events and functions.
It is fulfilling to know that this legacy is being promoted as part of the club’s forthcoming plans for the next couple of years, which hold immense promise for the club and town of Trowbridge and its surrounding areas.
